This sunscreen is great! It is water repellent, not water resistant. You do need to re apply every couple of hours, especially if you get into the water. However, we noticed that it stays on your skin for a few days (gets stuck in the creases of your skin - elbows, crooks of the arm). It gets watery when it's in the sun and hot. Make sure you apply before you go out in the sun. It will stay on longer. YOU WILL BE WHITE/BLUE WHILE ON THE BEACH. I didn't really mind. My husband was white because it got stuck in his hair. i read all the feedback regarding this product. first of all, it will not rub in like most suntan lotions so your face is white. it is greasy and also smells. there is no way i could use this everyday. i would not buy this product.

Pros: Exellent rating from EWG's sunscreen guide, good ingredients, subtle smell.
Cons: Gritty, does not absorb well.
Unfortunately, the grittiness trumps all of the positive qualities of this sunscreen - I just can't fathom putting this on again and subjecting my skin to what feels like a sunscreen made of fine sand. A pity, because I really wanted to like it.

I'm so happy I ordered this all natural sunscreen. It doesn't have any of the products which are said to cause cancer (which most sunscreens do have) which is why I bought it. It has a great texture and great coverage for my kids.
