Is this a joke? July 17, 2009 G. E. Mesmer (Vancouver, WA) 5 out of 8 found this review helpful
Cobra Commander, what happened to you? You used to look cool and halfway intimidating in your cartoon/comic book days. GI Joe fans, Don't waste your money on this one. I half-hoped that the picture was of a prototype and that I'd get something different in the mail. No such luck. This "ultra-intimidating mask" is a joke and I hope is not movie accurate. There's artwork on the back of the package that makes the mask look a little like "Jason X". Though clearly a rip-off, it would at least be better than this garbage. I've read some stuff online since getting this in the mail. Apparently the original "mask" was determined to be offensive and because of that some studio genius came up with this travesty. My best hope is that my wife can sew a hood for this mess of a figure so I can at least save it from going in the Goodwill box. Lesson learned.
