5 out of 5 stars 4 year old loves it!   June 25, 2010
Dawn (Milwaukee, Wisconsin)
My daughter plays this game over and over. It was easy enough for her to learn but there are different levels for her to try. It's very educational. I find that she quotes from the game alot and when I ask her were she heard about constilations she said "My Wall-e game.". Very happy with purchase!

5 out of 5 stars phenomenal for pre-k - kindergarten   March 22, 2010

My kids LOVE this game! They've learned so much about the solar system that I am amazed. Anything that gets them excited about learning deserves 5 stars!

5 out of 5 stars Wall-E   February 28, 2010

I bought this game as a reward for my 3-year old when he became potty trained. He and his 5-year old brother play it all the time. It is just about their favorite game for the Leapster. And it teaches them about recycling! I would definitely recommend it. It is recommended for ages 4-7, but my 3-year old had no trouble figuring it out and playing with it.

5 out of 5 stars Will be better when she gets older   February 6, 2010
A. Hernandez (Leander, TX)
I bought the Wall-E game for my daughter who was to recieve a Leapster 2 for Christmas. She turned 3 the week before Christmas. She loves getting on the computer and playing computer games, so we bought this to try to satisfy that need (which is hasn't, but she still loves her leapster). She loves the movie Wall-E, so we thought this would be something she would want to play. The game she plays the most is the "Creative cube stacking", where as Wall-E you complete a mirrored image, or as Eve-you blast blocks away to create a 4-way mirrored image design. At her age she also plays the Sorting and Recycling game as well, where trash is color coded, and picking one color gets rid of all connected like trash. Think Tetris. The other games are a little too old for her right now. Star gazing teaches math skills and constellation facts (printables are available as "rewards" through Leapster Connect software.) Ride to Axiom-is a navigational game that my daughter isn't that into right now, although I'm sure she needs to work on that hand eye coordination a little more to get it. And finally Axiom Action teaches letter identification and spelling for the harder levels. Overall I think it's a good game. It has a lot of learning and kids will like all the sound effects from the movie. You can set the level for beginners like my daughter to harder levels for 1st graders. If your kid is pretty smart and is 6 or 7 this might not be that challenging. The spelling is all 3 letter words, although the constellation stuff might interest them. So overall that's why I gave it a 5 star. No complaints, we're pretty happy with it. And I think as my kid develops more she will get more into it. She really likes to go online with it, and get the rewards you earn for playing. Oh and, Amazon is the cheapest place I found for the leapster games, even more so than Wal-mart, which I loathe to shop at., but when it's Christmas and birthdays, and times are tough, you gotta do what you gotta do. I hope this helps.

5 out of 5 stars Great fun for all ages!   December 15, 2009

Wall-E is one of the most versatile games I have encountered for the Leapster so far. The difficulty levels vary to the extent that my 2 year old can play several of the games without frustration, while my almost 5 year old can play and still be challenged. The game play choices are unique and interesting and do not quickly get repetitive as we have experienced with some other games. One of the games even lets you create your own custom design, so the possibilities are endless! This is one of the few games that is great for boys and girls, both from the younger and older age groups.
