Product Description
FRIDGE PHONICS MAGNETIC LETTER SET

Amazon.com Product Description
Phonics have never been more fun with this LeapFrog Fridge PhonicsMagnetic Set. With this engaging tool, children can learn letter names and sounds from the convenience of your refrigerator. Simply place a letter into the reader and press to hear its name, sound, and a delightful phonics song. Great as a speech development tool for ages two and up, the LeapFrog magnetic set delivers hour of amusement, while teaching the alphabet.

Leap into Learning
Kids will dance to the music and their faces light up as they imitate the sounds. The vowels are all colored red and the consonants are yellow, blue, or green. This helps children identify letters and see the difference between vowels and consonants. And as the children learn to grasp and place the letters, the toy sharpens motor skills.

To start the learning process, this toy includes 26 magnetic letters and a magnetic letter reader. Little fingers can easily grasp the big, bright letters and place them on the fridge. Kids can also play the alphabet song by pressing the red musical note. In addition, a handy off-soft-loud control allows parents to change the volume and keeps the music at an enjoyable level. Vibrant colors and a sassy green frog captivates the kids and adds to the fun. This educational toy's durable plastic construction holds up to rough toddler play. Three AAA-size batteries are provided.

Award-Winning Features
This toy has received many accolades and awards from prominent toy organizations. In 2003, it won the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Seal and Snap Award; it was also named Nick Jr.com's Toy of the Year. It attaches right to the refrigerator with secure magnets and is easily accessible when your child is hungry for learning. With lively musical songs and a fun cartoon frog, the magnetic letter set can be a great educational tool for children with a severe speech difficulty, or for those just needing a brush-up on their ABCs.

5 out of 5 stars Good buy.   July 12, 2010
Chris Kincaid (Phoenix, AZ)
My daughter sings the abc's along with it. I can think of anything bad to say about besides it feels like it should have been a little cheaper do to it's simplicity. But it's really cool and I've had it for almost a year. A lot of letters have been lost, but there is still enough letters to have some fun.

4 out of 5 stars poor sound quality   July 9, 2010
Claire's mom (Oakland, CA USA)
Good toy for teaching the alphabet, but the sound quality is poor. For example "A" sounds like "eh." My friend's 2 year old specifically mispronounces certain letters to sound like the voices on this toy.

5 out of 5 stars Love this toy!   June 28, 2010

I bought this toy for my 17 month old. It keeps her busy while I cook dinner and clean up the kitchen. She now sings and dances to the songs. I bought it because my friend had one for her kids and my dd loved to go in her kitchen and play with it the entire time we would be over for a visit!! It is definitely a must have! At the time Amazon had the cheapest price as well!!

4 out of 5 stars good toy   May 21, 2010
dj's mom (honolulu, hawaii)
my 20 month old likes this toy. he's been playing with it everyday since we opened it last week. i bought it for him because he's totally into letters and numbers, and figured it'd be good for his motor skills too. sometimes he has trouble getting the piece in but he's actually pretty good at it and getting better. the voice on the toy is a young boy's, and it's cute how the singing is kind of imperfect, like an actual child's. there isn't much variety with the songs it plays, but that's ok. i like the magnet letters because the magnet is not exposed like with cheap magnets you would buy. and though of course we could, we don't even play it on the fridge, i just have it all in a plastic container that we can open and play in the living room. glad i bought it!

5 out of 5 stars The best magnet alphabet set!   April 19, 2010
Lisa Miller Porte (Long Beach, Ca usa)
The leapfrog set is so sturdy and durable. My 19 month old loves the fridge magnets, they are easy for her to hold. She just can't get enough of them. She can even put the letters in the sun player herself and it repeats the letter to her.
