Editorial Review This classic game of luck, strategy, and determination is easy to grasp for children as young as 6 years old, yet it's fun for adults and older siblings too. By drawing cards, players move their game pieces around the board, hoping to eventually accumulate all their pieces at the final destination--home sweet home. Sorry is known as the game of "sweet revenge," since players can send each other's pawns back to the starting line, thus forcing one another to lose ground and begin all over again. This kind of frustration may be hard for children under age 8 to handle. In fact, young ones typically crumble into tears of outrage when their pawns are cavalierly sent back. The only recourse is to teach children how to plot their own revenge, which makes them feel as powerful as superheroes.

Great Game - For Sportive Kids August 29, 2010 Srikanth Goli This game has great potential to teach kids strategy, tactics and arithmetic combinations, if they can bear the disappointment of being sent back to the start by their opponent. That is why it scores low on fun. However if the kids can overcome that disappointment, which is not easy from my experience with my 6 year old, and learn to be sportive there are enormous skills for the picking that can be useful as building blocks for academic skills.
fun for the family July 31, 2010 Sunshine (Barbados) My 8yr old god-son loves this game. I don't know how sorry he is when the others are losing but it's great fun for the family and easy to play.
family fun May 21, 2010 G. Cox (Texas) I think that sorry! is a great game. It's very educational and fun for the whole family. Once your child plays this game, they'll never want to stop...unless they're bumped back to start! I definitely recommend this game. I play it myself with my family as well.
The kids LOVE it May 4, 2010 Madee Bee (New York) I bought this for my nieces for Christmas. I wasn't sure how it would go over because they have video games as well. They ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. As a matter of fact, I can't go visit without being told I have to play with them.
The game is a lot of fun, and makes you think. I believe it's helping with their deductive ability. They actually think about who to send home or what moves to make instead of just "picking" on someone, or moving any random piece.
I didn't think a board game would beat a video game but this one proved me wrong.
Sorry! Game May 1, 2010 C. J. Freeman I ordered this game for my 11 yr. old nephew. I'm not sure if he's played it yet, but I do know that he was very happy to get the game. I played this game with my brothers and sisters whenever I was young- and I am now 46 yrs. old! It's so great to still see classics being sold like this game.
